Welcome to VehicleTrader. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the VehicleTrader website, platform, services, and related features.

By accessing or using VehicleTrader, creating an account, posting a vehicle listing, contacting a seller, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

VehicleTrader is an online marketplace that allows users to discover, advertise, and communicate about vehicles. VehicleTrader may provide tools and services that help users create listings, search for vehicles, contact sellers, and manage their listings.

VehicleTrader is not necessarily the owner, seller, buyer, dealer, broker, or representative of any vehicle advertised through the platform unless explicitly stated.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or using VehicleTrader. You are responsible for ensuring that you are legally permitted to enter into transactions involving vehicles.

If you create an account on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to represent that organization.

Certain features of VehicleTrader may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities performed through your account.

You must notify VehicleTrader if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

VehicleTrader reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms & Conditions or are involved in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all information included in a vehicle listing is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Listing information may include, but is not limited to:

• Vehicle make and model
• Manufacturing year
• Mileage
• Price
• Vehicle condition
• Fuel type
• Transmission
• Vehicle location
• Vehicle images
• Vehicle specifications
• Description and other relevant information

Sellers must not intentionally provide misleading, inaccurate, or deceptive information about a vehicle.

Sellers are solely responsible for the vehicles they advertise on VehicleTrader and for any transaction they enter into with a buyer.

Sellers should ensure that they have the legal right and authority to sell the vehicle listed on the platform.

Sellers must not advertise vehicles that are stolen, unlawfully obtained, illegally modified where prohibited by applicable law, or otherwise prohibited from sale.

Buyers are responsible for independently verifying the condition, ownership, documentation, history, and suitability of a vehicle before completing a transaction.

VehicleTrader strongly recommends that buyers inspect a vehicle and verify relevant documentation before making any payment or completing a purchase.

Buyers should verify, where applicable:

• Vehicle registration and ownership documents
• Vehicle identification information
• Service and maintenance history
• Mileage and condition
• Outstanding financial or legal obligations
• Insurance and other relevant documentation
• Seller identity and authority to sell the vehicle

VehicleTrader does not automatically inspect, certify, verify, or guarantee every vehicle listed on the platform.

Unless a particular inspection or verification service is explicitly identified as being provided by VehicleTrader, users should not assume that information in a listing has been independently verified.

Vehicle prices displayed on VehicleTrader are provided by sellers. VehicleTrader does not guarantee that a listed price is accurate, current, or available.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, VehicleTrader is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. Payment arrangements, deposits, financing, delivery, ownership transfer, and other transaction terms are the responsibility of the parties involved.

Users must not use VehicleTrader to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Advertise stolen or unlawfully obtained vehicles
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Use another person's account without authorization
• Upload content that violates applicable law
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Distribute malicious software or harmful code
• Use automated systems to abuse or overload the platform
• Create listings for prohibited goods or services
• Use VehicleTrader for fraudulent financial activities

Users are responsible for images, descriptions, and other content they upload to VehicleTrader.

By submitting content to VehicleTrader, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to use and upload that content.

VehicleTrader may remove content that violates these Terms & Conditions, applicable law, or our platform policies.

VehicleTrader may provide features that allow buyers and sellers to communicate with each other.

Users are responsible for their own communications and interactions. VehicleTrader is not responsible for agreements, promises, representations, or disputes arising between users.

VehicleTrader may contain links, integrations, or references to third-party services. These services may have their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

VehicleTrader is not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

We aim to keep VehicleTrader available and functioning reliably. However, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

VehicleTrader may temporarily suspend or modify parts of the platform for maintenance, upgrades, security reasons, or other operational requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VehicleTrader shall not be responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising from transactions or interactions between users.

VehicleTrader does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, condition, ownership, or availability of vehicles advertised by users.

You agree to indemnify and hold VehicleTrader and its operators, employees, partners, and service providers harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms & Conditions, or interactions and transactions with other users.

VehicleTrader may suspend or terminate access to an account or remove listings if we reasonably believe that the user has violated these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws.

Users may stop using VehicleTrader at any time and may request account deletion subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

VehicleTrader may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page together with the applicable revision date.

Continued use of VehicleTrader after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the applicable laws of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
